The story of Iago: The Green Eyed Monster explores the origin of Shakespeare’s notorious villain, Iago, reimagined as a woman.
Taking place moments after Iago has lost her expected promotion to Lieutenant to the young, unseasoned Cassio, Iago sings a high-energy rock song incorporating lines from Shakespeare’s text, illuminating the inequity and microaggressions she has experienced throughout her time as Ensign in the form of AR holograms.
